Dr. Tara Sherman is a board certified Psychiatrist in New York with over 25 years of experience. She is a graduate of Brown University and the Mount Sinai Medical School and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of psychiatry at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. She treats all ages of adults but has a specialty in young adults, having completed a fellowship in University Mental Health at Yale University. The therapy strives to give the individual insight and understanding to navigate their life in a healthier and more satisfying way. An important aspect of the treatment is diagnostic assessment and evaluation for the possible need for medication. The patient is understood in a multidimensional and holistic manner.
